A quote is an estimate by definition meaning estimates can fluctuate.

With that said, a quote or estimate is only as good as the reputation of the company giving it to you. This is very important to know on how to haul your car.

Some companies will send you a lowball quote to get your attention and then switch the rate later to a much higher amount in order to get a driver to accept.

Make sure to review check the companies that are issuing you those low-ball quotes.

Google search the company names to receive review sites. Look at the negative reviews first as we can always give ourselves good reviews. Bad reviews will most likely never be falsified.

You should be happy at delivery
Drivers prefer to pickup/deliver door to door as it avoids them having to wait for anyone.

They should arrive, load/unload and keep going.
The only things that would hinder door to door service would be low hanging trees, narrow roads or laws that restrict.

If any of those issues arise, the driver would need to contact you to coordinate a more accessible place.
