How are rates determined?

What are auto transport pricing factors?
Car Shipping Cost Mainly Depends On Fuel Rates and Mileage
Car shipping rates involve many different factors.

Logistics planning is a very important part of the process because in order to complete a successful car shipping delivery, the details must be coordinated exactly right. One of these aspects includes the  space available on the car carrier in comparison to the vehicle in transportation size.

Some pricing factors determine car shipping cost
Vehicle size also factors into the cost to ship a car

If the car is too big to fit on the open space aboard the car hauler, then this would be considered a wasted trip for the driver as the car transporter would leave with the empty slot.

This is known as a 'dry run' to car shipping companies.

Rates are determined by: Route availability, vehicle specs (weight/size), total mileage, route variations and current diesel fuel rates based on the national average.
There is no set price for any route as market car shipping rates fluctuate up and down consistently in accordance to national average diesel fuel rates which is the fuel most car haulers use to ship cars from state to state.

When requesting a quote from Viceroy, you will receive an estimate based on your needs. The rate will include everything. Taxes, tolls, fuel, Door-to-door service and full insurance protection bumper to bumper.
